Job Description

Job Overview :

Role & Responsibilities :

Ensure you continue to develop your knowledge and expertise through your own ‘personal career development’ and utilizing training and development offered by the company. Extensive knowledge of accounting methods (both Lao and international accounting) and the tax law
Manage the reconciliation for key accounts such as:
Bank reconciliation
Prepayment
Loan and other labiality accounts
And other balance sheet accounts
Verify the appropriateness and correctness of the accounting entries made by junior Accountants (AP and AR Accountants) where they are related to the accounts under GL Specialist responsibility
Assist the Accounting Manager to determine the procedures where they can generate the most efficient work flow for the Accounting Team
Assist Accounting Manager to maintain good controls of the accounts under GL Specialist responsibility. This includes a proper preparation of a good reconciliation file and explainable information
Responsible for any additional tasks assigned by CFO or Accounting Manager.
Other than the above functional responsibilities, the employee is required to follow the policies and procedures mentioned below:
RMAL organizational chart
RMAL process flow
Ker ridge and LSNAV instruction manual
RMA Group accounting manual
RMAL reporting calendar
RMAL HR policies and procedures
RMAL BOA (Bill of Authority)
RMAL Chart of Accounts
Coordinate with the accounting Team to maintain an accurate recording of the accounts related to Banks, prepayment, loans and other,
Maintain good cooperation with the Treasury/Finance Team on completing the bank and loan reconciliation
Maintain good cooperation with Procurement or other departments on completing the prepayment and other accounts when needed
Provide the information to the Operation Manager/Team for any information related to accounts under GL Specialist's responsibility
Coordinate and provide support to the External Auditors

Qualifications :

Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in Accounting Functions and/or Auditing would be a plus
Knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel
Experience in using any ERP system
Strong written and normal communication skills
